The Vehicle was constructed in Curitiba to gather discarded wood. The recycled materials were used to construct a table for serving food cooked as part of the opening of the exhibition.

Systems Analysis with Hydro-mechanical Expenditure Device

The interactive sculpture playfully reversed the strategy used by the Brazilian government around Curitiba, where hydro-electrical power produces most of the region's energy. Here human energy is harnessed to generate the movement of water throughout the gallery.

Systems Analysis with Hydro-mechanical Expenditure Device

A wall drawing links imagined and intuited routes for the electrical wiring in the gallery. These drawings along with diagrams of the city's electric utility connected the broader infrastructure of the city to the specific space of the gallery through abstract mapping systems.
